New Report Analyzes Al-Qaida’s Strengths and Vulnerabilities
September 4th, 2008- by Homeland Security Blogwatch

From Homeland Security Digital Library:

A new report from The International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation and Political Violence discusses the strengths and weaknesses of Al-Qaida, and offers suggestions for governments to counter the terrorist organization. From the text:”The core Al-Qaida leadership remains in place, but it is still far from recovering the position of strength it enjoyed in 2001. It has suffered from an inability to clarify its role and aims. Though it may still count on thousands of sympathisers across the world, the leadership has failed to find a consistent and reliable way to connect with and direct its supporters.”
